Where the Baltic Sea and land merge…
The gentle hilly landscape of the Mönchgut peninsula rises between Bodden and the sea in the south-east of the island of Rügen. The foothills extend far into the sea; sea and land seem to flow into each other, thus producing new shapes and colours again and again. It is the constant change that adds to the unique character of this landscape. Embedded in that landscape and only 150 metres from the Baltic Sea you can find the eight villas in the architectural style that is typical of the island of the Fürst Jaromar Hotel Resort & SPA. Comfortable holiday flats or spacious hotel apartments are available for the guests – for a peaceful and relaxing wellness stay completely in harmony with nature.
Besides the outdoor adventures whilst hiking, cycling, Nordic walking and surfing, guests especially enjoy the treatment with medicinal chalk from Rügen in the wellness area of the hotel. The mud extracted from the area is extremely rich in lipids and is as if made for wellness treatment. It cleanses, warms up and purifies the skin. Moreover, it has a pain-relieving effect and makes the skin really soft.
The location of Fürst Jaromar is inspiring: Wind and Sea on both sides of the peninsular, leafy surroundings, and blue skies and waters. And it is a specialty alone, that visitors find a hotel in this area, as it is a declared UNESCO biosphere reserve – a true exclusive location!
The hotel offers wellness treatments with “Rügener Heilkreide”, an efficient cataplasm of medicinal chalk from “Rügen”.
The restaurant primarily serves organic food: The meat comes from animal-appropriate farming and the fish is caught off the local coast of Juist.
Baltic cities Binz, Sellin, Göhren and Baabe with their impressive architecture; the inspiring landscape and romantic villages on the island of Rügen; idyllic bays and the world-renowned chalk-cliffs painted by Caspar David Friedrich are easily accessible by bike or by foot.
