Excursions are available to Husumer-Bucht and the North Sea harbour town of Husum with its houses displaying colourful facades and the small crab fishing boats that can be found in an enclosed harbour. In addition, the town boasts a beautiful market place surrounded by 16th and 17th century houses – one being the birth place of the famous author Theodor Storm, and a castle, which is well worth a visit. Husum is situated just 8 kilometres from the Lundenbergsand Hotel.
